Cookie Policy

How this website uses cookies and similar technologies.

Last updated: 20 July 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to the site owner about how the site is being used.

2. How we use cookies

The Wonderful Indonesia Tourism Fair (WITF) 2026 website uses cookies to keep the site working, remember your consent preferences, and — with your permission — to understand how visitors interact with our pages so we can improve the experience.

3. Types of cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These cookies are essential for the website to function — for example, to keep you signed in to the exhibitor, buyer, partner, or organizer portal, or to remember your cookie consent choice. They cannot be switched off.

Analytics (optional)

If you accept, we may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors reach and use the site (pages viewed, referral source, device type, approximate country, and clicks on buttons and links). This helps us improve navigation and content. Analytics is first-party — data is stored on our own servers, not shared with advertising networks, and no personal identifiers such as your IP address are stored.

Cookie used: witf_visitor_id — a random ID that lets us distinguish unique visits. Expires after 12 months. No analytics cookie is set until you choose "Accept all".

Anonymous CTA counts (always on)

Even if you choose "Necessary only", we count anonymous clicks on our four registration call-to-action buttons (Exhibitor, Buyer, Conference, and Partner applications). These counts do not use cookies, do not include any visitor identifiers or session IDs, and cannot be linked back to you. They are used purely to measure business interest in each programme.

4. Your choices

When you first visit the site, a banner lets you know that analytics cookies are used by default. By continuing to browse or clicking "OK", you accept them. You can opt out at any time by choosing "Necessary only" in the banner, or by using the button below or the "Cookie Preferences" link in the site footer. Your choice is saved in your browser and remembered on future visits.

5. Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. Blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of this and many other websites.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the site or applicable regulations. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was most recently revised.
